New Bedford – Ronald A. Parkinson, 75, of New Bedford passed away January 14, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Mr. Parkinson was born in New Bedford, son of the late Edward W. and Marie L. (Landry) Parkinson, and resided in New Bedford most of his life. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church where he was active in the Episcopal City Missions. He was employed as a dialysis technician by various hospitals until his retirement.
Survivors include his brother: Raymond E. Parkinson and his wife, Pauline; 4 nieces; 6 great nieces; and 4 great nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, 6:00-8:00 P.M. followed immediately by funeral services at 8:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
