Mary Castagnetti passed away at home in the company of her loving family. She was 90. Born and raised in Southborough, she was the daughter of the late Batista and Maria (Ellavalle) Berri. A Medford resident for most of her life she lived in Washington, DC for the past few years. A devoted wife and mother, Mary enjoyed caring for her family. Mary was close to her extended family and always enjoyed good times with family and friends.
The beloved wife of the late Frank J. Castagnetti, she was a devoted mother of David Castagnetti and his wife Ann of Bethesda, MD and John Castagnetti of Medford. She leaves her loving grandsons, Andrew and Ben. She was a dear sister to Caroline Pessini and Paul Berry, both of Southborough and is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit on Wednesday, January 18th at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, from 9 - 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
