Troy Anthony Goddard, age 47, a lifelong resident of Taunton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Center in Providence, RI
Born in Taunton, MA on November 6, 1969, he was a loving son of Sheila M. (Fierra) Goddard of Taunton and the late Donald W. Goddard who died on September 7, 2010.
Troy was educated in Taunton schools and spent the majority of his working career as a heavy equipment operator for Local Union 4,
Troy was an avid outdoorsman whose passions in life were fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends alike.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved sons Tyler J. Goddard and Mathew A. Goddard both of East Taunton. He was the dear brother of Lisa M. Aleixo and her husband Jeff of Taunton, and the loving uncle of Kasey Aleixo and Jesse Aleixo both of Taunton. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and his former wife Deirdre Goddard.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a graveside service on Monday, January 23rd at 1:00 P.M. at St. Francis Cemetery, Glebe Street, Taunton. Visiting hours have been omitted
