Donna Mygatt, age 70, of Englewood, FL passed away January 13, 2017 surrounded by her family at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.
Born and raised in Manchester, NH, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Irene Peterson. She graduated Central High School in 1964 and Mt. Ida College in 1966. She began a family with her first husband, Paul Henneberry and made homes in Massachusetts and Colorado before settling in New London, NH where she became known by many as a dental assistant.
Donna enjoyed a very active lifestyle with her second husband, Philip Mygatt, living in NH, TX and FL. Her favorite activities included camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, reading and, most of all, shopping.
She is also survived by her three daughters, one step-daughter, and eight grandchildren: Michelle and Mark Nassau of Enfield, CT with daughters Astrid and Avery, Jennifer and Christopher McTague of Chatsworth, CA with sons Milo and Wesley, Stephanie Hanbury of Dedham, MA with sons Joseph and Gavin and fiancé Michael Looby, and Kimberly Thomas of Belmont, NC with daughter Hannah and son Cameron.
A remembrance service will be held at 10 am, Monday, January 16 on what would have been her 71st birthday at Hyde Park Presbyterian Church, 1109 River St., Hyde Park, MA. A private burial is planned.
