Jane L. (Santos) Young, 72, of Westport died Saturday, January 14, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She was wife of the late Robert A. Young.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Lewis A. and Irene E. (Wood) Santos, she was a lifelong resident of Westport. She was a librarian for the Westport Free Public Library. She was a member and conductress of the Cortez Allen Chapter #161 O.E.S. Westport. Mrs. Young was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Dawn A. Young and her husband Richard Gagne of Westport and Bonnie A. Blaney and her husband Thomas of Westport; a sister: Barbara A. Santos of Westport; and 2 grandchildren: Laryssa Y. Gagne and Matthew R. Blaney.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 5 - 8 P.M. with an Order of the Eastern Star service at 7:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be private.
