Edgar Parrish
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, January 13, 2017, Mr. Edgar L. Parrish, 81, loving husband of 53 years to Ingred Parrish.
Mr. Parrish was a Veteran of the United States Army. Following his retirement from the Army he became Vice President in the Loan and Adjustment Department at Georgia Railroad Bank & Trust. He then worked at First Union and then the Bank of Burke County/Southern Bank. Mr. Parrish was a member of Point South Golf Club and of the AMBUCS Big Hat Club.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include his son: Mark Parrish of Hephzibah; grandchildren: Kristen and Kaitlyn Parrish; and sister: Mary Ann Heard and husband Rudy of Atlanta.
The family would like to thank Southeast Hospice for their compassionate care.
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 16, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Wallace Hoyle officiating.
