Benedetti --- John A. of West Roxbury, after a brief illness, January 13, 2017. Beloved son of the late Eileen (Galvin) Benedetti and John Benedetti of Norwood. Devoted brother of Pauline Benedetti of Millis and Patricia Melville of Dedham. Loving uncle of Nicole and Danielle Eliopoulos and Christopher, John and the late Peter Melville. Great uncle of Nathan, Ryan, Evan and Jacob. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
John was a graduate of Catholic Memorial School, Class of 1982 and a carpenter for the Massachusetts State House.
Visitation will be held in the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury, on Tuesday, Jan. 17, beginning at 12 Noon. A funeral service will be celebrated at 1:00pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
