John J. Couepel, 55, of Woonsocket died January 6, 2017 at home.
Born and raised in Woonsocket he was a son of the late Prosper and Eleanor (Wigglesworth) Couepel. He was a lifelong resident of the city.
John was employed as a cook for Paul’s Family Restaurant for several years and had also worked for Privilege Scrapyard.
He is survived by three sons Trevor, John Jr. and Matthew Couepel, a daughter Brittany Couepel and a grandson Logan Couepel. He was the bother of Charlie, Jimmy, Russell and Claire Couepel and the late Robbie, Georgie and Marc Couepel. He is also survived by his significant other Vivian Daluz of Woonsocket.
His Memorial Mass will be Saturday at 10:00 am in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-8 pm in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket.
