Jennifer Anne Windisch, 49, of Key West, FL. passed away at her residence on October 13, 2016. Jennifer was born January 12, 1967 in Lawrence, MA and was a daughter of George and the late Patricia (Woekel) Windisch. She was raised and educated in Lawrence and had been a member of the Key West community for 20+ years.
Prior to being disabled, Jennifer was very athletic and enjoyed the many outdoor sports that Key West had to offer. She loved windsurfing, boating, scuba and waterskiing. She will forever be remembered as a very gifted and caring registered nurse, who excelled in caring for others.
Members of the family include her father and step mother, George and Kathleen Windisch of Londonderry, her sister Gretchen Berthiaume and brother Matthew Windisch, both of Londonderry, a step sister, Virginia Stacy of Beverly, MA and step brother Kevin Stacy of Montana. Jennifer was predeceased by her longtime partner, Jan Montgomery in 2011.
Memorial calling hours were held Monday, January 23, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to big dog ranch rescue at www.bdrr.org.
