Age 92. Passed away on January 8, 2017
She went to be with Our Lord surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her husband, Jack; son, Jim; three brothers; one sister. Survived by her loving twin sister, Dorrie; daughters, Kathy (Rich) Schumann, Annie (Ron) Taylor, and Mary (Gene) Stowers; grandchildren, Peg (Cory), Amy (Jeff), Tim (Darcy), Frank, Melissa, Marcus, and Michael; great grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Reid, Luke, and Hunter; and many loving nieces and nephews. Delores was born in New Market, MN on April 19, 1924. She was employed as a financial bookkeeper for school district 622 for 15 years. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting & needlepoint. She and her husband were active at the Church of St. Peter as lifelong members. They enjoyed many years at their Wisconsin cabin and traveling within the states and abroad. Later in life, she attended all activities and church services at her assisted living home. A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Ecumen Lakeview Commons Assisted Living of Maplewood, and the Health Partners Hospice Team. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday (January 12, 2017) 11:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be directed to Ecumen Lakeview Commons of Maplewood or Alzheimer Association.
