He had a very fulfilling life in his home in Andover which he purchased in 1974 and raised his family in. He had a welcoming personality and was always at his happiest when his home was filled with people, fun, friendship, and love which was often. He could be seen around town always offering a friendly wave riding his Olds with his distinctive hat and handlebar mustache. He had a passion for antique cars and spent a great deal of time restoring his 1956 Oldsmobile with his son John. He enjoyed years of friendly card games of “45’s” with his dear friends and following the Red Sox and Patriots. He was a 44 year member of the Elks.
He recently moved to North Berwick, ME with his partner, Sue Thorne. He was thoroughly enjoying the Maine way of life, playing with ‘the Corgi’ dogs and his home with “The View”.

He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Law, his son John and his wife Megan (“favorite daughter-in-law”), 3 granddaughters, Julia, Samantha and Addison Thomson and his 2 grandsons, Colby and Parker Law, his brother Michael, his uncle Harold Hayes and former wife Patricia Morin Thomson.
