Mrs. Jeannette G. (Lamarche) Desrosiers, of Taunton, died Sunday, January 8 in Marian Manor following a lengthy illness. She was born 89 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Graziella B. (Marcoux) Lamarche. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, Jeannette had been employed as an assembler for the former Haskon Corp. in Taunton for many years. Following her retirement she was Personal Care Assistant for her great granddaughter, Krystal M. Beard. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, cooking, dancing, socializing with her friends and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
She leaves: 3 sons: Laurent Desrosiers and his wife, Beth of Bridgewater, Alfred Desrosiers and his wife, Cheryl Dyson of Taunton, and Francis Desrosiers and his wife, Delfina of Taunton; 1 daughter: Gail Teixeira and her husband, Charles of East Taunton; 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Jeannette was also the great grandmother of the late Krystal M. Beard, sister of the late Theresa Semas and Claire Karol, and aunt of the late Annette Karol.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street on Thursday, January 12 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the Service, Thursday, from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M.
