Charles E. Bumiller "Chuck", age 60, of Woburn, formerly of Winchester, passed away on January 8, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Sherry (Boodakian) Bumiller.
Born in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Donald R. and Mary F. Bumiller. He was a graduate of Winchester High School with the class of 1975,and was employed as a steward with the Local 33 Carpenter’s Union for many years. Chuck enjoyed doing carpentry work at home, as his specialty was finished carpentry work. He was an honorary member of the Boston Carpenter’s Association, and had received the “Golden Hammer Award” in the 1980’s.
In his spare time, in addition to his home carpentry work, Chuck enjoyed walking in the woods at Horn Pond.
Along with his wife, Sherry, Chuck is survived by his siblings: Donald R. and wife Lauri of Middleton, Mark R. of CA, Ann Marie Rolli and husband Steve of Winchester. He was also the dear uncle of Dean, Tasha, Ginger and Carli Boodakian, Laurel and John Hosmer, Stephen Rolli, Mary and Donny Bumiller, Michael and Jacob DeCarlen-Bumiller. He also leaves behind his dog and “son”, Rufus. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather at the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., on Friday, Jan. 13 at 5PM, followed a Service of Remembrance at 6:30 PM. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Chuck’s memory may be made to the ASPCA www.aspca.org.
