Mrs. Geraldine M. (Toulouse) Jean, 80 of Lawrence passed away on Saturday at Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Quebec, Canada Mrs. Jean had been an area resident for over 50 years. She retired from the Lawrence Housing Authority where she worked as a custodian. Mrs. Jean was a member of the former St. Anne Parish, she enjoyed the beach and loved to spend time with her family. The widow of Leopould Jean, she was also pre-deceased by her son Andre Jean. Mrs. Jean is survived by her companion Omer Bourgeois of Methuen, one daughter; Denise and her husband Moises Afonso of Salem, NH, four sons; Noel Jean and his companion MaryAnn Curtis of Methuen, Claude Jean and his companion Ruth McDonald of Springfield, MO, Robert Jean and wife Dale of Greenbush, ME, and David Jean and companion Therese Davis of Londonderry, NH. She has 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
