Barbara Ann (Fisher) Phillips, 83, of Whitman, formerly of Brockton, died on December 30, 2016. Born in East Bridgewater in 1933, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Emma (Sampson) Fisher.
She was a graduate of Brockton High School, and was employed at numerous manufacturing companies in the Brockton area, most recently Harte Hanks Marketing Services of Whitman.
She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling in the New England area and summer trips to Foxwoods and Duxbury Beach.
Barbara is preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years William G. Phillips, sisters Ruth MacRoberts, Bernice Zarella, Marion Murphy, and brothers Kenneth and Frank Fisher.
Barbara is survived by her son William J. Alexander, of Wrentham and his wife Dorothy; her two grandchildren Mark W. Alexander and Nicola M. Alexander of Wrentham, sisters, Florence Smith, Frances Catrabone, Grace Theodos, all of Brockton and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 4:00 – 5:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 5:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle)Whitman. Burial will be private.
