Mrs. Taylor was a lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. She, with her husband and sons owned and operated Taylors Cleaners. Mrs. Taylor was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and businesswoman.
Family members include sons: Joe E. Taylor, Jr. and wife Sheila and Michael H. Taylor and wife Janelle; grandchildren: Joseph (Beth), Trace (Francene), Angela (Bruce) MacIntyre, Robyn, and Melanie (Jonathan) Thurmond; and great grandchildren: Alex, Brandon, Jessie and Ean.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents Alma and J.P. McMichael and brothers: Marion, David and Bobby McMichael.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at University Hospital Healthcare at Kentwood.
A memorial service will be Saturday, January 14, 2017, 11:00 A.M. in the Storey Chapel at First Baptist Church of Augusta with Dr. Rodger Murchison officiating.
In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Augusta Memorial Fund, 3500 Walton Way Ext., Augusta, GA 30909.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
