SANTOSUOSSO, John P., of Winthrop, formerly of Beachmont, Revere died peacefully on December 17, 2016, at the age of 88, in Pompano Beach, Florida. He was the beloved son of the late Saverio “Sam” and Aldessia “Daisy” (Ricciardi) Santosuosso of Beachmont, Revere. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Gladys (Fox) Santosuosso. Also survived by his sister Evelyn Luongo of Everett and many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his sisters' Camille “Millie” DeLorenzo and Sylvia Giarratani, both of Beachmont, Revere, and his brother Alfred “Freddie” Santosuosso of Nahant. John retired from Brinks Armored Transport after more than 26 years of service, followed by many years of security detail service at North Shore Community College. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects Saturday, January 7th between the hours of 9:30am to 11:30am at Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St., WINTHROP. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:30am. Burial will be private.
