Patricia Elizabeth Brady, age 84, died peacefully on December 30th 2016 surrounded by family. Born October 24th 1932 in Johannesburg South Africa. The daughter of Gertrude and Duncan Phyfe. After growing up in New York, she and her husband Malcolm (Mal) Brady, moved to California to start a family. They lived in Carpinteria for 46 years. She is survived by her husband Mal Brady and three children: Mary, Nancy, Bill, Emily and 7 grandchildren. She was greatly loved. Patrica (Pat) loved to travel and camp with her friends. She worked as a nurse at Casa Dorinda retirement community in Montecito, for 33 years. Not a day went by that she didn’t speak of her gratitude for her life, her friends, her work and her family.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours to be held on Wednesday January 4, 2017 from 6 to 8pm in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME, 757 E. Main Street Ventura, a Most Holy Rosary will be recited at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Thursday January 5, 2017 in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 1532 Linden Street Carpinteria. Interment will immediately follow in Carpinteria Cemetery.
