Dunn, Mary Margaret, age 88, of Milton, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 30. She was the dear sister of Robert J. Dunn, Jr. of Milton and sister-in-law of the late Patricia A. Dunn, the loving aunt of Robert J. Dunn, III & Patrick A. Dunn, both of Boston and Ellen M. Dunn of Milton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton, Thursday morning at 11. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Wednesday, 4 to 8 PM. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Ms. Dunn was a retired Teacher of the Boston School Department. She taught for many years at the James Michael Curley Elementary School, in Jamaica Plain. She joined the Peace Corps and taught for for 2 years in St. Lucia & Barbados in the 2nd Peace Corps class at the inception of the program. She was also a member of the Boston Teachers Union.
