Obituary

Mary (Fulton) Barkley, 84, better known as “Gram” of Foxboro, formerly of Franklin and West Orange, New Jersey, died December 29, in Norwood Hospital.

Born in Kearny, New Jersey, May 8, 1932, the daughter of the late Theodore A. and Mae (Trimble) Fulton, Mrs. Barkley was raised in Kearny, had lived in West Orange for 20 years before moving to Franklin where she lived for 20 years before recently moving to Foxboro.

Mary had been a postal clerk for the United State Postal Service.

She enjoyed watching sports, keeping her mind active with word puzzles, playing with her IPhone but above all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Linda Barkley of Weymouth, Michelle Tamulionis of Blackstone, Mark Barkley of Worcester and Kathleen Barkley of Foxboro. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mary Bryant, Ryan Tamulionis, Erin Tamulionis, Ashley Barkley and Katelyn Barkley and her 6-month-old great-grandson, Jace Austin Rosario.

Her calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 3 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin from 4-8 p.m. Mary will be laid to rest with her mother in New Jersey.
