Obituary

Charles T. Bennett, age 87, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016. Charlie was born in Waterville, VT and moved to Weymouth in 1954 before moving to Rockland 5 years ago. He was the owner of Carlson Pattern Works in Weymouth where he worked for 50 years before retiring in 1999. During the Korean War, Charles served his country in both the Navy and Army.
Charlie was the husband of the late Judith S. Bennett and is survived by his sister Lois Williams of Gloucester. Besides losing his wife he is also predecease by his son, Ross Bennett and his sisters, Margaret Manchester, Arlene Griffen, Mary Johnson and Eleanor Waterman.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hour at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday, December 28 from 10 to 11 AM immediately followed by the Funeral Service at the Funeral Home at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1 PM.
