Katharina M. (Promeuschel) Schrade 84, of Norwood, died peacefully, Thursday December 15, 2016 with family by her side, at the Charlwell House in Norwood, following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Horst Schrade who died in 1990.
Born May 6, 1932 in Siegsdorf, Germany, a daughter of the late Fritz & Maria (Lang) Promeuschel she was a former longtime Franklin resident until moving to Norwood several years ago.
Katharina worked as an office manager for Dr. Randy Weiner, DMD of Millis until retiring.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and was an active member of the Franklin Senior Center, where she volunteered her time.
She is survived by a son, Stuart Schrade and his wife Cindy of Spring Hill, Florida, a daughter Christine M. Keddy and her husband Allan of Canton, and 2 grandchildren, Laurence & Katerina Schrade.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Saturday January 7, 2017 at 10:30AM in the Anglican Church of the Redeemer 31 Hayward St. Franklin, MA 02038.
Her interment will be held privately.
