NUTTER - Robert D. "Bob" Nutter, 69, passed away Sunday morning, December 18, 2016 at his Yulee, FL residence.
Mr. Nutter was born March 8, 1947 in Westmoreland County, PA and moved to Yulee two years ago Jacksonville, FL.
He was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the 49th Signal Platoon, 198th Infantry Brigade.
Mr. Nutter enjoyed flying radio controlled planes, fishing, riding his motorcycle and traveling.
He is survived by two sons, Jeremy Nutter and his wife, Yvette; and Donald Nutter, all of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter and son in law, Wendy and Matt Yohe who live in Pennsylvania; two brothers, Dale and Jim; a sister, Carol; and five grandchildren, Tyler, Michael, Justin, Joshua and Ethan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 30, at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218. Those attending should assemble in LANE 3 between 11:00 and 11:15 a.m. Military Honors will be provided by the U. S. Army.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, at Green Pine Funeral Home, 96281 Green Pine Rd., Yulee, FL 32097.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
