She was born January 22, 1922 in Iroquois, SD. On the morning of December 12, 2016 at the age of 94 beautiful years, her family was by her side, holding her hands as the sun rose peacefully outside her window, it was then she rose to heaven to meet her Savior, Lord Jesus Christ. She was reunited with her dear husband of 71 years and true love of her life, Percy, her parents Katherine and Reuben Rounds, Willie and Emma Davis, son, Ronald, grandson Benjamin, infant great grandson Gabriel, siblings Kenneth and Bernice Rounds, Lyle and Eudora Rounds, Marie and Ed Brackey. It’s a reunion she anxiously awaited. Celebrating her memory on earth is her precious daughter Cheryl (Terry)Dinderman, Nancy(Ron)Brovold. She was the best Oma to her grandchildren, always wanting just one more kiss or hug from them. Her 7 grandchildren are Christopher Dinderman(Miley), Janine(Don)Petros, Michael(Tina)Dinderman, Kristin(Kevin)Deml, 8 great grandchildren, Kyra(Mike Ames)Dolby, Davis and Jensen Petros, Jacob and Gabrielle Deml, Sophie and Riley Dinderman. Lastly, her “little ones” she adored, great great grandchildren Bentley Grace and Bauer Wilson. Audrey is also survived by her sister, Joyce Osterkamp, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was an amazing lady, lighting up a room when she entered it. She was always willing to make time for you, knit you a gift, share a cup of coffee with good conversation, laughter and hugs.
The taste of her caramels and popcorn balls or smell of cinnamon rolls and bread baking will forever stay in our hearts. Christmas was her favorite holiday, it’s only fitting she’s celebrating in heaven this year. Her family is eternally grateful for the caring hands and hearts of the staff of Ramsey County Care Center & Health Partners Hospice-you made every day of her life joyous. We’ll celebrate Audrey and her passion for life at a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, December 21, 2016, 10:30am at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 380 Roselawn, Maplewood, MN, Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Visitation one hour prior to mass at the church.
