FALL RIVER… Bruce W. Crawford, 70, of Fall River passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at his home.
Born in Newport, RI, he was a son of the late Robert L. and Hannah L. (Waring) Crawford. He had lived most of his life in Fall River.
Mr. Crawford was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a 1964 graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, a member of the VFW Post 5392 and enjoyed sports, specifically the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He worked as an over the road truck driver for many years for the Frito Lay Company.
Survivors include his daughter, Christine Crawford of New Bedford, his son, Brian E. Crawford and his wife Donna of Norton, MA, his former wife, Judith A. (Cambra) Crawford of North Dartmouth, and his grandchildren, Ian and Allison Crawford. He was brother of the late Douglas E. Crawford.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 11 AM at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River. Interment will be in Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton. Calling hours Friday 9 - 11 AM, prior to the service.
