Marie T. Blanchard of Canton passed away December 14th at the Charlwell House in Norwood. She was born in Manchester, NH and raised on a farm in Bedford, NH. She was known for a sense of humor and liked to share jokes with family & friends. She was active in politics and the town of Canton – was a Notary Public, Registrar of Voters, and worked at many local elections and town offices. She was a founding member of St James Lutheran Church. An avid bowler, painter and bridge player. She is survived by her 4 children, Marion Blanchard of NY, Alaina Blanchard of WI, Ralph S. Blanchard, III of CT and Jeffrey J. Blanchard of Canton. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and two sisters, Beverly Toolin of NH and Patricia Parrack of TX. Beloved wife of the late Ralph S. Blanchard, Jr.
Relatives and friends invited to attend a graveside service at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, MA Thursday December 22nd at 12 noon. A memorial service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, Canton Saturday January 21, 2017 at 11 am.
