NEWTON: Enid Marie O’Donnell, 53, died peacefully on December 12, 2016 after a rapid decline in health due to medical complications related to Cystic Fibrosis.
Enid was the beloved daughter of John O’Donnell and Joanne (Brewer) O’Donnell, the adored wife of Armando Vergara, the cherished sister of Meagan (O’Donnell) McLean and Maura O’Donnell, the much loved sister-in-law of Winston McLean II and David Roman Ubeda, and the dear aunt of Winston McLean III, Courtney McLean and Maddie McLean.
Enid graduated from Wayland High School in 1982, earned her B.A. at Bates College in 1986, and was awarded her J.D. degree from Duquesne School of Law in 1989. She was an accomplished retirement planning professional. Enid was happiest spending time with her close friends and her family. She also loved long beach vacations in Florida. She had an indomitable sense of fun and was a generous and loyal friend loved by many.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 2 to 6 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte. 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 10:00 am at Good Shepherd Parish at St Ann’s Church, 124 Cochituate Road (Rte 27) in Wayland.
Her family requests that in lieu of flowers Enid be remembered with donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, www.cff.org.
