Entered into rest Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the residence, Mrs. Patricia Lynn Beckwith, 76, loving wife of 38 years to the late Dr. Merton Beckwith.
Mrs. Beckwith was a native of Waupon, Wisconsin. After her husband retired from the United States Army, they both traveled throughout the world, including 5 of 7 continents, and made Augusta their home many times throughout the years. Mrs. Beckwith loved reading, playing bridge, spending time at the beach, traveling, Manhattans, wine and most of all spending time with family and friends.
Family members include her sons: Bruce Beckwith and wife Elisabeth, Mark Beckwith and wife Staci; daughters: Susan Smith and husband Brian, Jane Beckwith; grandchildren: Carter, Emma Kate, Casey, and Amanda Beckwith, Mitchell and Tyler Smith; and twin sister: Kathleen Bollom.
A memorial Mass will be held Monday, December 12, 2016 at 1:00p.m.at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with Fr. Gerald Ragan celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
