Maria Lobo Rodrigues (90) of Brockton died December 7th in her home under hospice care surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born in Corvo, Mosteiros, Fogo, Cabo Verde daughter of the late Jonatas Lobo Rodrigues and Amalia Fernandes. Maria loved walking to the store, playing the lottery, going to the casino, coffee, animals and her cell phone. She was very devoted to her family and was known to be creative, generous and caring.
Maria is survived by 3 sons, Jose, Armindo and Orlando Andrade all of Brockton, 1 daughter Maria Pereira of Brockton, 1 brother Manuel Lobo Rodrigues of Brockton, sister of the late Candida Andrade, Catarina Lobo Rodrigues and Quilda Lobo Rodrigues. 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday December 10th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 10:30 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Friday December 9th from 5-9 pm.
