In Taunton, December 6, 2016 Mary S. (Glidden) Williams, Passed away in Longmeadow of Taunton at the age of 74. Mary was born in Waltham, the daughter of the late Elbridge & Laura (MacDonald) Glidden. She had resided in Taunton most of her life, was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, class of 1960 and also Bridgewater State University in 1964. Mary worked in the Taunton Public school system as a teacher and also worked for Tasca Lincoln Mercury for twenty years. She was a friend of Bill W. and enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling to Ogunguit, ME and spending time with her loving family. Mary leaves her two children Timothy Williams and his wife Kathleen of Plymouth, Ma and Rosemarie Dumas and her husband Darren of Raynham. She also leaves her grandchildren Eliza and Emelia Dumas of Raynham and Owen and Aidan Williams of Plymouth. Mary is survived by her sister Barbara Morgado of East Taunton and her late siblings Elbridge Glidden and Catherine Amaral. She also leaves her four nephews. Funereal from the O " Keefe Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Saturday December 10th at 9:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Church in East Taunton at 11 AM Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday from 5-7 pm. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Mary’s memory to the charity on your choice.
