Anthony J. Bossi of Medford died on Monday, December 5. Born and raised in East Boston, he was the son of the late James and Eleanor (Merullo) Bossi. Anthony proudly served in the Army during World War II and Korea. He returned to Medford, where he worked as a deli manager.
Anthony was the beloved husband of the late Jean (McCarthy) Bossi, and the devoted father of Toni Marie Chardo and her husband Anthony of Medford, Lisa Oakes and her husband Stephen of Florida, Dean Bossi and his wife Cheri of Georgia, Paul Bossi and his wife Cynthia, Keith and Susan Bossi, all of Billerica, Scott Bossi and his wife Cynthia of Wakefield, Sherri Cole and her husband Gerard of Billerica, Anthony Bossi, Jr. and his wife Gail of Carver, and Kristie Lacombe and her husband Michael of New Hampshire. Anthony is survived by 21 loving grandchildren and 7 loving great-grandchildren. He was the brother of James Bossi, Joan Scozzari, Regina Mostone, Eleanor Harne, and the late Caroline Mutascio.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, December 9 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Thursday, December 8, from 3 through 8 PM.
