Obituary



Worcester – Philip Isildakli, 93, died on Monday, December 5th at home surrounded by family.

Mr. Isildakli was married to the late Fevronia (Hacidimo) Isildakli who pre-deceased him in February 2015. They were married for 65 years. He is survived by his son, Ernie Isildakli and his wife Maria of Worcester; a daughter, Helen Kerbici and her husband George of Webster; two sisters, Sophia Prifti and Elisavi Penbeyan both of Worcester; 4 grandchildren, Louis Kerbici, Fay Simmarano, Pauline Jakober and Natalie Isildakli; a great grandchild, Zoe Simmarano and many nephews and nieces.

Philip was born in Istanbul, Turkey, son of the late Vasili and Polikseni (Korda) Isildakli and is also predeceased by 2 brothers, Konstantino and Christopher Isildakli.

Mr. Isildakli worked as a baker for Table Talk Company for many years retiring in 1985. He enjoyed gardening and most importantly spending time with his beloved family.

A funeral service will be held at 10 am in Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral 102 Russell St. on Friday, December 9th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with burial to follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 8th from 5 to 7pm in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral 102 Russell St. Worcester, MA 01609.
