Quincy - Marilyn A., Parent, formerly Dorchester & Roxbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2016. A graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School, she retired from University Hospital, Boston after a year 25 year employment. Most important to Marilyn was her large extended family. She was the beloved mother of Yvonne M. Tortora & her husband Carmen of Brockton, Marilyn A. Morganelli & her husband Nicholas, James C. Choukas, and Genene Sassone, all of Quincy, Charmaine Fabiano & her husband James of Tampa FL, Zina Chambers of Brockton and Marlene Choukas of ME. Also survived by 14 cherished grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Margaret Kirker of Harwich and the late Winifred Estabrook. Funeral Service at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Friday morning at 11. Visiting hours Thursday, 4 to 8 PM. Burial Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
