Obituary

Craig Mario Colace, 34, of Franklin, passed away Friday, December 2.

Born in Framingham, March 12,1982, he was a lifelong Franklin resident. He was a graduate of Franklin High School in 2001.

He loved his career as a concrete finisher and was a member of the Local 22 Union. Craig had worked for Marguerite Concrete and was now working for Turner Construction. He had an amazing work ethic and was always proud to show his family the buildings that he helped create.

Craig was a sports enthusiast who loved football and snowboarding. He loved being with people, going to Patriots games and concerts with his friends. He loved his family, and he loved his friends like family. He was an uncle to everyone’s children, and he absolutely adored his niece, Abby. They were two peas in a pod.

He is survived by his mother Amanda (Rodier) Colace and her partner Bernard Krysinski of Franklin and his father Angelo Colace and his wife Nancy Nulter of Medway.

He is also survived by his sisters Tennille (Colace) Kazijian and her husband Douglas of Franklin and Isabel Nulter of Medway.
He is also survived by his niece Abigail Kazijian and his girlfriend Jill Erickson of Franklin.

He was the grandson of the late Mario and Dolores (McLinden) Arcaro and Felix and Florence Colace.

He is also survived by his great aunts, Lucy Negrone and Louise Arcaro of Franklin, his uncle Anthony Colace and his aunts Deborah Baro and Penelope Arcaro all of Franklin and many cousins.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 7, from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin at 9:00 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Charity of One’s Choice.
