Joyce Jaksch
Augusta, GA –Mrs. Joyce Lanier Jaksch, 76, entered into rest Friday, December 2, 2016 following an extended illness at Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home
In 1940, Joyce was born to Lawton and Pearl Lanier. She attended Richmond Academy and worked in the family business at South Augusta Auto Electric for over 40 years.
Family members include her father-in-law: Karl Fuerlinger; son: Diether Jaksch, Jr. (Renee) of Swainsboro, GA; daughter: Terri Bray (Joel) of Swainsboro, GA; grandchildren: Ellen Chandler (Justin), Beau Jaksch (Dana), Courtney Jaksch, Scott Bray, and Jack Bray; great grandchildren: Dawson and Dillon Chandler, Kaylee Jaksch, and Walker Arp; and beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Diether Jaksch, Sr.; brother: Jimmy Lanier; and sister: Joann Niver.
The family would like to thank her special caregivers at Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home for their love and care.
The graveside service will be Monday, December 5, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
