Fata, Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Padden), 83, in Hingham, formerly of Marshfield and Hyde Park on December 2, 2016. Beloved wife for 59 years of the late Paul T. Fata, Sr. Loving mother of Paul Jr. of Braintree, Kathleen DiMare and husband Dominic of Readville, Michael of Braintree and Matthew and wife Buffy of Natick. Dearly loved sister of Margaret Sullivan and husband James of West Roxbury, John T. Padden, Jr. of Sagamore Beach, Mary Ballarino and husband Robert of Cumberland, RI, Judith Fitzsimmons and husband Roy of Cohasset and Edward Padden and wife Patricia of Franklin. Grandmother of Lauren Connolly, Ryan DiMare and wife Kristen, Michael DiMare, Kaitlin DiMare and Amanda Fata. Also survived by her adored great grandson Mason Davis DiMare and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty loved the Boston sports teams, especially the Red Sox and Patriots. Some of her happiest days were spent at Red Sox spring training in FL. and as a Patriots season ticket holder attending games with her husband Paul.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Tuesday at 10AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Dedham at 11AM.
