Gail Dunn
Augusta, GA – Gail Dunn, 67, entered into rest Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at home with her daughter Heather and her partner Michael by her side.
Gail was born in North Attleboro, Massachusetts in 1949. Raised in a military family, she grew up all over the United States and spent four years in Panama. The years in Panama instilled in her a love for travel and fascination with other cultures. She also had passion for history and was an avid reader. Those who knew Gail loved her compassion, sense of humor and wit. Gail and Michael traveled all over the world and were especially fond of lengthy cruises. She spent 26 years working at Doctors Hospital as a Medical Technologist. Later in life she found her true calling as a volunteer for Trinity Hospice.
Family members include her daughter: Heather Dunn; brothers: Hugh Lomas (Linda Buck), David Lomas (Joan) and Steve Lomas (Wanda); longtime partner: Michael Wamsted and best friend: Eileen Bernat.
In keeping with Gail's wishes, there will be no funeral services.
