Obituary

Natick – Frank J. Busa, age 85, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham on Monday, November 28, 2016 with his loving family at his side. He was the devoted husband of Patricia B. Murphy (Bohling), with whom he shared many loving years together.

Born in Lexington, the son of the late Frank and Rose (Merlino) Busa, Frank was a graduate of Lexington High School. It was soon thereafter that Frank began working in design/home construction. His creativity, talent and knowledge in this industry were soon recognized. During his 50-plus year career, he designed and built more than 800 homes in the Metrowest area. Frank was truly able to say that his career was a hobby to which he dedicated many hours and was also able to say that he derived enormous pleasure and pride from his accomplishments. In his spare time, Frank was often found reading; but perhaps his most favorite past time, was cooking for family and friends. Those who knew Frank were touched by his kindness, graciousness and unselfishness.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his children, Russell Busa and Laura Buzzell of Burlington, their mother Muriel (Wiss) Busa, grandchildren Tricia, Amanda and Corey, and great-grandson Mason. He was predeceased by his sisters Jacquelyn Busa and Angela Lombardi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 9th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, 830 Worcester Road, Framingham, MA arranged under the direction of the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common.
