Anthony R. Tarallo of Peabody departed on Sunday, November 27, after a hard fought battle with cancer, at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. Raised and educated in Medford, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Catherine (Rocco) Tarallo. Anthony was employed as a contract Cisco-Certified Network Engineer, “the phone guy”, for GE Aviation in Lynn, MA.
Anthony was the beloved husband of France Martins, and the devoted father of Christopher Tarallo and his wife Victoria of Gardner. He was the loving grandfather of Lakeisha, Makeyla, and Keyleana Tarallo, and brother of Frank Tarallo of Medford, Saundra Guiry and her husband Brian of Everett. Anthony was the uncle of Nathan, Ava, and Emma Tarallo, Thomas and Robyn Guiry, and is also survived by friends and family.
Anthony’s passion for the Filipino and Indonesian martial arts brought him into a circle of brotherhood, the core of his fighting spirit. He enjoyed photography and loved “burning his face off” with hot sauce. He will always be remembered for riding his bike through rain and snow for all of the years he didn’t have a driver’s license. Anthony was an amazing man who could tell the most hilarious stories with incredible detail and wit. His companionship and love was unwavering. If you’re one of those people that’s experienced it, you know what I’m talking about. And if he could have written his own obituary, he would have taken the opportunity to thank the people that were closest to him for teaching him, loving him and being a part of his journey. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, December 3 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private. Visiting hours Friday, December 2 from 4 through 8 PM.
