Timothy C. Diggle, 56, of New Bedford died Sunday November 20, 2016 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Theodore C. and Eleanor S. (Gatie) Diggle, he was raised in Acushnet. He was a graduate of Fairhaven High School.
An avid sports fan, he loved watching the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox, and the Boston Celtics. He enjoyed socializing with his family and friends.
He attended Capeway Adult Day Program.
He is survived by his siblings, Susan Schusner and Theodore C. Diggle, Jr., both of Attleboro, Dana Diggle of East Freetown, and Jessica Collinson of Sandwich; six nieces and nephews, Melissa Ray, Matthew Lawrence, Tara Collinson, Jared Collinson, Andrew Diggle, and Sarah Diggle a great-nephew, Adam Diggle; and his Better Community Living Family.
He was predeceased by his sister, Eileen Wilk.
A graveside service will be held on Friday December 2, 2016 at 11 AM at Acushnet Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
