Nancy C. (Thunert) Callahan, 85, of Franklin, died Friday, November 25, 2016 at the Medway Country Manor. She was the beloved wife of Robert V. Callahan since 1956.
Born in Brockton on September 11, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Katherine (Riordan) Thunert.
Mrs. Callahan grew up in Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School. She has been a resident of Franklin since 1958.
She worked at Kendall Company in Walpole for many years.
She loved spending time with her family.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Ann LaRosa and her husband Rob of Franklin and Beth Choquet and her husband Bruce of Bellingham, four grandchildren, Timothy and Jeffrey LaRosa and Nicole and Steven Choquet and three great-grandchildren, Ezra LaRosa and Mila and Liam Choquet.
She was the sister of the late Kenneth and Roger Thunert.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Wednesday, December 7 at 11a.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St., (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
Burial will take place privately at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
