New Bedford – Lionel J. E. Boulay, 83, of New Bedford passed away November 20, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Mr. Boulay was born in Quebec, Canada, son of the late Joseph and Clara (Boutin) Boulay, and resided in New Bedford most of his life. He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church. He was employed as a carpenter by Reliable Truss until his retirement. He enjoyed taking trips to and from Canada where he would fish and hunt with his cousins and other relatives.
Survivors include his son: Raymond A. Boulay; 3 daughters: Annette, Lisa and Malinda; 3 sisters: Viola Racine, Gaetane Mahon and Liliane Duarte; 2 brothers: Lucien and Denis Boulay; 4 grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
He was brother of the late Simone Jarvis and Marcel Boulay.
