KINGSTON, NH – Virginia "Ginny" (Thurston) Gardner Wallace, age 86 of Kingston, NH, died on November 23, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Wallace. Born at Memorial Hospital in North Conway, NH, she was the daughter of the late Betty and Harold Thurston. She was raised on the Thurston Farm in Jackson and graduated from Fryeburg Academy in Maine. Ginny went on to become a nurse and worked for many years at the Bon Secours Hospital in Methuen.
Ginny was an avid reader and gardener. She spent many years with the love of her life Tom in Andover, Florida and the Cape. They loved relaxing on the beach or on the porch having great conversations with family and friends.
She is survived by her six children: Norman and his wife Janet Wallace of Andover, MA; Valorie Gallagher of Puerto Morelos, Mexico; Deb and her husband Brad Fay of Methuen, MA; Vicki Gardner Daly of Methuen, MA; James Gardner and his fiancé Amanda Newton of North Conway, NH; and Greg and his wife Patty Gardner of Salem, NH. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Shawna Gallagher, Scott Wallace, Erin Wallace Warren, Sarah Cooper, Jimmy Gardner, Jared Gardner, and Thomas Gardner; and her great grandchild Mason Cooper.
