Federico Cieri of Medford died on Sunday, November 27, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital of Boston. Born in Boston's North End, he was raised and educated in Medford, the son of Angelo and the late Allesandra (Martignetti) Cieri.
Federico was the beloved husband of Constance (DiFronzo) Cieri, and the brother of Carmella Donato of Medford. He was the uncle of Paul Donato III, Cassandra Donato, Brian and Gina Kelly, Rico DiFronzo, Marianna and Mira Mauras, and the late Lia DiFronzo. Federico was the son-in-law of Anna (Iacozzi) and the late Americo DiFronzo of Medford, and brother-in-law of Christine Kelly and her husband Thomas of Acton, Americo DiFronzo and his wife Laura of Tewksbury, Andrea Mauras of Saugus, and Richard DiFronzo and his wife Tracey of Medford.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, December 1, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Wednesday, November 30, from 4 through 8 PM.
