NEW BEDFORD— Yasuko Hobson, age 86, of New Bedford, died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. She was the widow of James Hobson who died in 1990.
Born in Japan November 6, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Todi and Fugiko (Fudiwara) Nagastubo and lived in this community many years. She was retired from Acushnet Company.
Survivors are her daughter Linda Panton and son Robert Hobson, six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation and prayers will take place on Wednesday from 4-7 pm in the Wilson Chapel, 479 County St., New Bedford. Burial in Mass. National Cemetery is private.
