Obituary

Mary A (Tartarini) Brown 81 of Natick died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Metro West Medical Center in Natick. She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Brown Sr. who died in 1994.
A Natick resident for 59 years she was born in Revere the daughter of the late Nino and Victoria (Leslie) Tartarini.
Mrs. Brown was a member of the Natick Police Department for 30 years working as a Crossing Guard and as Matron for the Natick Jail. She was also owned and operated the Libra Realty Company in Natick.
Mary was active in numerous Civic, Church, and Volunteer organizations firmly believing that through tireless efforts she could help make Natick a better place as “The Home of Champions”.
She was a Town Meeting Member for 50 years, Member of the Natick Democratic Committee, Member for many years of the Fourth of July Committee, Member of the Natick PTA, Past President of the Natick Lions Club, Past Officer of the Natick Sons of Italy, member of the VFW Auxiliary Association, member of the Save the Natick Post Office Orginazation.She was a devout Catholic and supported both St Patrick and St Linus Parishes in many committees and any activity that needed a volunteer.
She is survived by two sons Jimmy Brown of Natick ,Wayne E Brown and his wife Kathy of Stow, one brother Douglas C Tartarini of Fl, one sister Joyce Hubbard of Fl, grandchildren Meghan Day and her husband Daniel of Westborough, Matthew Brown of Stow, Patrick J Brown of NYC, James E Brown III of China, great-grandchildren Maribella Brown and Daxton Brown of NY, nieces Kimberly Tartarini of Milford and Wendy Tartarini of Marlborough and her sons Frank and William, sister in law Judi Tartarini of Marlborough.
She was also the mother of the late Ronald A. Brown, sister of the late Nino Tartarini, Peter Tartarini , and Claire Crustuk.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, November 23rd at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick Church at 10:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Interment St Patrick Cemetery.
