In East Taunton, November 18, 2016 Joseph A. Michaud passed away at home surrounded by family after a year battle with cancer. He is the son of the late Arthur F. and Mary E. (Moore) Michaud. Brother of Christine Michaud of E. Wareham, William Michaud of Brockton and the late Paul W. Michaud. His beloved fiancé and caregiver Helen Nemet of East Taunton. He also leaves behind many dear friends he considered family. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and car enthusiast. A kind and giving person who enjoyed his late nights hanging at Dunkin with friends. Midnight rides to nowhere and a good 24 hour diner. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Tuesday, November 22nd from 4-6:30 PM followed by a remembrance service at 6:30 PM.
