Maria J. (Aguiar) Soares, age 47, of Fall River, passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016. Born in Feteiras, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of Maria (Tavares) Aguiar and the late José Aguiar. She was also the wife of Luis Soares. Maria was a manager at Wendy’s, who was very active, happy go lucky, football fan, who loved animals, gardening, family and friends.
Maria is also survived by her two sons; Matthew and Brandon Soares, siblings; Maria Faria, José, Ana, and Lina Aguiar, and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday here at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial Santo Christo Church at 9 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours on Monday from 4-7 P.M.
