Obituary

Valerie C. (MacDonald) Williams 83, of Natick, died Tuesday, November 15, 2016 surrounded by loving family at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond A. “Willie” Williams who passed away in May 2011 sharing 57 years of marriage.
A Natick resident for 57 years she was born in Arlington and raised Brighton MA, the daughter of the late Angus and Edna (Clarke) MacDonald.
Mrs. Williams was completely devoted to her husband, children and large extended family, providing a warm and loving home open to all. She was blessed with a unique ability to make everyone she met feel special and loved.
Equally important to Valerie was her work in the community. She was instrumental in creating a non-profit school for troubled teens, Vision in Action, as well as working with Serenity House and many other organizations.
Valerie was an avid Red Sox fan, friend of the Morse Institute Library and in recent years enjoyed the warmth and companionship of family in Arizona and Las Vegas.

She is survived by eight children; Michael Williams of Dedham, Robert Williams of Millville, Robin Jenner and her husband Wayne of Gilbert AZ, JoAnne White and her husband Paul of Framingham, Jeanne Lavezzo of Natick, Keith Williams and his wife Frances of Norton, John Williams and his wife Bonita of Holliston, Judi Baldini and her husband Christopher of Natick, 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren ,her sister Priscilla Falter of Brighton, brothers; Kenneth MacDonald of Las Vegas, NV, Richard MacDonald and his wife Patricia of Hull and many nieces and nephews. Valerie and Raymond also fostered many children through the years.
She was also the grandmother of the late John Paul Simeone and sister of the late William MacDonald.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday November 19th at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common.
Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
