Catherine A. Currier, age 77, of Dorchester, passed away unexpectedly November 10th at the Carney Hospital. Born and raised in Boston, she graduated from Notre Dame Academy, Boston University, Suffolk University and Boston State Teachers College. She was a Physical Education Teacher for the Boston Public Schools for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Brendan’s Parish in Dorchester and the Adams Neighborhood Society and was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing at the Ponkapoag Golf Course in Canton. Devoted sister of Mary FitzPatrick and her husband Ronan of Charlestown and the late Joseph O. and Frederick M. Currier. Dear sister-in-law of Roberta Currier of Hanover, formerly of Quincy. Cherished aunt of many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services for Catherine which will be announced when plans have been finalized. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
